Wendy Verna — President/Creative Director

Wendy is the sole owner and founder of Octo Design Group. Early in her career she worked in several in-house graphics departments and quickly began feeling stuck. There was simply not enough variety in the work. So she took matters into her own hands and created Octo Design Group in 1991. The name Octo was chosen because of her experience in illustration, mural art, identity packages, marketing materials and advertising – basically having her hands in all aspects of the commercial art and communication business. Her vast multi-disciplined experience continues to contribute to the firm's ability to ease a client through the difficult process of defining, creating or refining their company’s image.
